At the age of 37 I said yes to surfing
A long time dream
Coming true at maturity
There are no regrets
No way back
I accepted all the challenges
The world’s womb embraces me
Our cycles, tides, moods are connected
Surfing has shaped my pregnancies and motherhood
A lesson or two about limits and resilience
And under it’s overflowing inspiration I created a documentary – The Surfing Mum’s Journey –
screened at the Sunshine Coast Surf Film Festival 2019
